The Layar Reality Browser shows what is around you by displaying real time digital information on top of the real world as seen through the camera of your mobile phone. This technology is called Augmented Reality. With our platform we help companies build augmented experiences and with our browser we help users discover and play these augmented experiences.
Our goal is to move people with Augmented Reality: move them in their brains with education and insights; move them in their bodies with discovery and games.
Currently we have several open jobs in Amsterdam.

- take initiative with ideas that further the strategy of Layar.
- have a good understanding of the mobile industry, and have preferably been working in this area.
If you are right for the job…
We will offer you a wonderful time and a contract.
- If you work from Amsterdam, your contract will be under Dutch Law.
- A holiday allowance of 8% (gross) of your annual salary (annual salary = 12.96 * gross monthly salary).
- 25 paid holiday days on annual basis.
Other items:
- We will provide you with a laptop (Macbook).
- We will reimburse your monthly mobile phone expenses (up to EURO 60 per month).
- We will reimburse your travel expenses from home to the office (19ct per kilometer if you live more than 5km from Layar).
- If you are not from the Netherlands but are willing to relocate to work at Layar in Amsterdam we will support your relocation!
