What is the Layar Partner Network?
At Layar, our mission is to bring impactful Augmented Reality experiences into people’s everyday lives. We provide the tools and the open platform which enables our ecosystem of developers distribute the highest quality AR experiences.
The Layar Partner Network (LPN) is a global network consisting of passionate, dedicated and best-in-class Layar developers. It is a collaboration between developers and Layar created to stimulate the growth of the Layar ecosystem by sharing knowledge, experiences, ideas and plans. The Layar Partner Network is the premium tier of Layar’s developer community.
The Layar Partner Network consists of Certified Layar Developers who create layers for brands, publishers and agencies, thus making businesses from Layar. If you want to create a layer but don’t want to do so yourself, the Certified Layar Developers are your first stop!
Another group of Layar Partners are the Layar Pioneers – forward-thinking individuals who create innovative new concepts with Layar. If you are looking for inspiration or a good speaker for your local event, the Layar Pioneers can help you!
A last group of Layar Partners consists of companies who offer Certified Layar Creation Tools. These tools, created by third-party developers using Layar Connect, are characterized by their ease of use, functionality and technical support offering. If you want to create a layer without coding, try one of the Certified Layar Creation Tools!

How do I join?
Joining the Layar Partner Network as a Certified Layar Developer is done either by invitation or by application. To apply, fill in the application form. Applicants must meet specific requirements for admission into the Layar Partner Network.
Requirements for admission include:
- At least three published, high-quality, well designed layers using Layar Vision.
- A passion and dedication to Layar; at least one dedicated resource working on layer creation.
- An active presence on the Layar forum.
If you meet the requirements above and would like to join our Partner Network, please contact us! If we accept your application, we’ll require you to sign our non-disclosure agreement. After that, you will enjoy all the benefits of the Layar Partner Network. In return for LPN membership, we expect you to actively contribute to discussion on the Layar forum, to give feedback on beta releases, and to promote Layar in your area, e.g., by featuring a Layar section on your website or to organize local events.
Layar Pioneers and Certified Layar Creation Tools are admitted by invitation only.
